In a history book, I find "Henry Arp, who was reared and who died in Pensylvania, having lived at the time of the Revolution in which great struggle he fought gallantly for the independence of the Colonies." But so far that is all I can find on Henry Arp. His name could be spelled a multitude of ways, so it could take awhile to find him. Henry's son Peter served in the War of 1812, there's a link to download his full War of 1812 Pension File, on his page below. Peter was granted a land bounty for his service, that may be what brought him to Lycoming County, but I have not looked at the land records to be sure.
